0One-Time Flavor Photo Cleanup
Flavor photos used to be saved inside the menu record itself — 33 of them, averaging about 30 KB each, which is most of why that record has been getting close to its size limit. This moves both Gelato and Sorbetto photos into Firebase Storage in one pass and leaves your flavor names, descriptions and settings completely alone. You only need to run it once — afterwards it will simply tell you there is nothing left to move. Save or discard any unsaved changes first.

Sorbetto
0Only one collection shows on the home page at a time. Toggle a collection active to feature it. Create as many as you like for different seasons or promotions — they stay saved so you can quickly switch between them.
Seasonal Collections
0Write announcements and updates here. They appear on your News page, and the three most recent also show on the home page. Only articles marked Published are visible to customers — everything else stays a private draft. The website always lists articles newest-first by date. Click Save News below to publish.
News Articles
0One-Time Cover Photo Cleanup
Cover photos used to be saved inside the news record itself, which is what fills up the storage meter above. This moves those old photos into Firebase Storage and leaves your article text completely alone. You only need to run it once — afterwards it will simply tell you there is nothing left to move. Save or discard any unsaved changes first.
Staff recommendations shown on your home page and menu page — perfect for a signature affogato, a favorite drink combination, or a must-try gelato. If a pick's name exactly matches one of your Gelato or Sorbetto flavors, that flavor's photo is used automatically; otherwise upload a photo or pick a color. Publish with Save & Publish (top right).

0These hours appear on the Contact page, the Online Ordering page, and in the footer of every page (consecutive days with the same hours are grouped automatically). Use a format like 12:00 pm – 9:30 pm, or flip a day to Closed. Click Save Hours below to publish just the hours.

This is the same live recipe book the shop iPad uses — not a copy. A change saved here shows up on the iPad within a couple of seconds, and a change made on the iPad shows up here the same way. Editing needs a recipe-manager account, which is a separate sign-in from your dashboard login.
Recipe manager sign-in
Logging in to the dashboard tries to sign you in here automatically, so you should rarely see this card. It means your recipe-book account uses a different email or password from your dashboard login, or is not set up as a manager. Signing out of the recipe book leaves you signed in to the dashboard; signing out of the dashboard signs you out of both. They are still two separate accounts.
Split one day's pooled tips between the staff who worked it, and keep the record. Amounts are worked out in whole cents, so the shares always add up to exactly the total you entered — no missing or extra penny. This is staff-only: none of it appears on the website, and Save & Publish never touches it.
